![]() If you look into the metals used to build each reel you will find the Accurate has better quantity metal. There is nothing wrong with the standard AR bearing as long as it has the seal kit around it, available in all NZ Accurates and can be fitted to any Accurate model that does not have it for $60nzd. They have a sealed AR bearing (the largest out of all brands) plus a triple dawg back up the bearing. If you want a dawg reel then go the Accurate DFS Pit Bull, only available in NZ in all sizes. May make my life a little easier in decidig which to sell lol But the Maxel does have a stock long handle which is an adv.ĭoes anyone have any comments on the Accurate BXs AR system? Or How the two reels compare. Other than that I feel the Accurate may have a slight edge in power and build. I believe this is an older Accurate BX where it is still a "chromed" AR bearing and not the newer better one this is a US Accurate not NZ. The only thing that scares me about the Accurate is AR bearing. Maybe a little less overbuilt and sturdy. However the Maxel feels just as smooth and powerful. The accurate is grunty and very sturdy, smooth and powerful. Hence the Maxel 09 vs Accurate BX600 question. I have already received the Accurate and I already own a Maxel 10 in righty but I'm looking take advantage of my ambidextrousess and get lefties. In the US, Maxel seems to have better service cause Accurates charge for every replacement part I believe. My apologies the Maxel is brand new and comes w/5 yr warranty but just discounted. Well I'm actually gonna get both and sell one.
